Everybody can close their eyes, and picture a dream house they’d love to live in. Yet, actually creating it – how do you create something from nothing? Anyone who’s creative understands that that’s the magic, that’s the alchemy. This house was born in my heart a long time ago. And most days, it doesn’t feel real.
Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamed of living in an old farmhouse. Honestly, I have no idea where my unwavering obsession with farmhouses comes from; or why my {extremely} practical nature allowed me to continually fantasize about my dream house… my “someday house”… MY farmhouse.
If I close my eyes tight enough and think about it really hard, I think it’s because It is warm and approachable which (I believe) is the feeling that most people want in their home for themselves and for their guests and also the fact that I frew up in the oldest farmhouse in my town.
Regardless, all of my late night insta-scrolling, and hours of pinning on pinterest eventually paid off. Welcome to my HOME, and stay tuned for ideas on how to organize, curate, and decorate.
